• Business or store name
• Requested number of stores
• POS system information
• Messages sent through the Early Access form or by email

When using the Kornero app, depending on the features enabled, we may also process store-related data such as store names, product UPCs, product names, prices, folder or section organization, POS configuration, employee roles, inventory counts, promotions, daily reports, sync information, and account activity needed to operate the service.

2. How we use information

We use information to:

• Respond to early-access requests and support messages
• Set up and manage store access
• Operate app features such as product management, inventory, reports, and permissions
• Improve reliability, security, and user experience
• Communicate important updates about Kornero
• Protect against abuse, spam, unauthorized access, or technical issues

3. Form submissions and email

Website Early Access form submissions are processed through Formspree and delivered to Kornero by email. We use the information submitted through the form only to review access requests, answer questions, and communicate about Kornero.

4. App permissions

Kornero may request access to device features only when needed for app functionality. For example:

• Camera access may be used for barcode scanning.
• Microphone or speech features may be used for voice entry if enabled.
• File access may be used when importing or exporting supported files.

Kornero does not use device permissions for unrelated tracking.

5. Sharing information

We do not sell personal information. We may share information with service providers that help us operate Kornero, such as website hosting, form handling, email, authentication, cloud storage, database, sync, security, and support tools. These providers are used only to support the service.

6. Store and business data

Store product data, POS configuration, inventory data, daily reports, and employee permissions are business data controlled by the account owner or authorized users. We use this data to provide the Kornero service and do not make store data public unless the owner chooses to use a future feature that clearly allows selected public sharing.

7. Data retention

We keep information for as long as needed to provide Kornero, respond to requests, maintain records, protect the service, and comply with legal or operational requirements. You may contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of your personal information.

8. Children’s privacy

Kornero is intended for business use by store owners, managers, and authorized employees. It is not intended for children under 13.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No system is completely secure, so owners and users should also protect their accounts, passwords, devices, and authorized access.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as Kornero develops. Updates will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
